What a pleasant surprise! We came here around 15.30, quite hungry and since the grocery was supposed to open at 16.00 we decided to wait. What a good decision that was!!! Not only we got to try some of the best panini ever, home made panforte and wine, we also got to know the owner of the place! A fantastic woman that took really good care of us!!! We both felt we were part of the family when we left and that's very rare to happened. I never received such a great hospitality!! Super recommended!!!!

We found this little shop in August during our Via Francigena trip. Today we came back to wish merry Christmas to amazing Mrs Silvana. Sadly, she said she would be closing the shop in next year. Hope she changes her mind and we meet her again in our next trip to Radicofani. If you are in town, this is a must seen place. She is very kind, giving lady. Like a mother she always offers food :)

So lucky to have walked upon this gem! The proprietors stayed open for us to make sandwiches for our group of pilgrims walking along the via Francigena! This was a true #TrekEpic moment! We definitely hope to return another time! Long live Pane e Companatico!
